Description: We're a startup building an automated sales tax compliance platform for e-commerce merchants (Shopify, Amazon, etc.). We need an experienced CPA specializing in sales tax to support our initial customer filings and compliance accuracy. Your Tasks: -Review initial monthly sales tax filings (1 hr/month per customer) -Validate state nexus calculations -Advise on state registrations and sales tax rules for our platform Time Commitment: -5–10 hours/week initially (flexible, remote) -Potential to scale down hours as automation grows Requirements: -Licensed CPA -3+ years in sales tax filings (SALT experience preferred) -Familiar with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon ideal) Benefits: -Hourly Pay -Potential for equity for longer-term work
