Role Overview This strategist will develop a comprehensive social media strategy from the ground up. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate brand objectives into an actionable social media roadmap that drives engagement, builds community, and positions our client at the forefront of innovation. Working closely with our creative and account management teams, you will support the build out of a robust social strategy that leverages platform-specific opportunities while maintaining a cohesive brand voice across channels. Key Responsibilities - Develop tailored strategies for key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, LinkedIn) with clear rationale for platform prioritization - Create platform-specific content mix recommendations - Apply detailed audience segmentation and persona development to inform content strategy - Establish posting cadence and optimal timing strategies based on platform analytics - Develop community management principles and engagement playbooks - Establish measurement frameworks and KPIs that align with business objectives - Create testing frameworks for ongoing content optimization - Establish social media policy and guidelines - Collaborate with account and creative teams to ensure seamless implementation - Document all strategy components for client handover and implementation Requirements - Experience: 5+ years in social media strategy, with a proven track record of building owned social channels from scratch - Portfolio: Clear case studies demonstrating successful social strategy implementation, ideally within tech sector (AI experience a significant plus) - Expertise: Deep understanding of platform-specific algorithms, best practices, and audience behaviors Skills - Strong analytical mindset to interpret data and translate into actionable strategies - Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate strategic vision - Exceptional presentation design skills - Ability to form a deep understanding of brand identity—analyzing vibe, aesthetics, voice, and goals to inform content strategy - Proficient at managing multiple workstreams while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines - Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams - Industry Knowledge: Current on emerging social media trends, content formats, and platform changes - AI Integration: Comfortable incorporating AI into strategy recommendations and workflows to optimize processes
