Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and driven **IAM Software Engineer** to join our growing Information Security team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions to ensure secure and seamless access across our enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of identity protocols, directory services, cloud platforms (especially Entra ID/Azure AD), and automation. Key Responsibilities - Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions across on-prem and cloud environments. - Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, and integrations for IAM processes using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Java. - Configure and support identity federation, SSO, MFA, and access provisioning/deprovisioning workflows. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control models. - Integrate SaaS and on-prem applications with centralized identity providers (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, Ping). - Participate in IAM system upgrades, enhancements, and patching schedules. - Monitor identity-related systems and alerts, ensuring compliance with internal security policies and external regulations. - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IAM services and end-user access issues. - Document systems and procedures, and contribute to IAM best practices and policy development. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in IAM engineering or systems/security administration roles. - Strong experience with: - Active Directory / Entra ID (Azure AD) - Identity federation and SAML/OIDC/OAuth protocols - MFA and conditional access policies - SSO integrations (on-prem and cloud) - Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.) - Experience with IAM governance tools (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Okta). - Knowledge of RBAC, least privilege, and access review processes. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments. - Certifications such as Microsoft SC-300, Azure Administrator, CISSP, or similar. - Experience with DevOps or CI/CD pipelines as it relates to IAM integrations. - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
