Social Media Manager for Brand that Makes Technical Products

We are a growing social media agency dedicated to helping businesses build their online presence and connect with their audiences organically. We have a client with a suite of technical products in the construction space and are looking for a Social Media Manager to manage their multiple social media accounts. This role requires a strong understanding of social media platforms and the ability to execute social media strategies and create engaging content. This position is a part-time contract position for one client (10-15 hours/week) with the opportunity for more work as agency needs arise. This position may also become long-term if it goes well. You will have the following key responsibilities: 1. Social Media Strategy: - Stay informed about the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media and apply these insights to client strategies. 2. Content Creation: - Create, curate, and schedule content for various social media platforms, ensuring that content and messaging is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for each platform. 3. Community Management: - Manage client’s social media accounts across different platforms. - Monitor client’s social media presence, responding to comments, messages, and interactions in a timely manner that is consistent with client’s brand voice. 4. Communication: - Be a trusted contact for our agency, answering questions, briefing in content, and providing regular updates. - Participate in regular check-ins with us to ensure client’s needs are being met and adapt strategies and content as needed. 5. Innovation and Idea Generation: - Bring fresh, creative ideas to the table for content. - Experiment with new formats, features, and content types to keep client’s social media presences dynamic and engaging. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Social Media Manager, within an agency setting or as a freelancer managing multiple accounts/clients. - Extensive knowledge of all major social media platforms. - Strong creative skills, with experience in content creation, graphic design, and/or video production. - Incredibly in depth attention to detail. Name your favorite kind of taco when you apply. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different brand voices and client needs. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail and quality. - Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote environment. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Experience with social media management tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Vista or Sprout Social.
