Job Title: 3D Rendering & Photo Editing Expert for E-Commerce Comforter Brand Overview: We’re building out the visual foundation for Mellow — a premium comforter brand focused on innovative, versatile sleep products. We're looking for a skilled freelancer with a strong background in 3D product rendering and Photoshop photo editing to help bring our brand visuals to life for web and ad use. What We Need: You’ll be responsible for creating clean, highly realistic 3D renders of our comforter products and editing raw lifestyle photos to enhance quality, adjust background settings, and swap product colors. The ideal candidate should be proficient in both CGI rendering (or AI-based rendering tools) and photo retouching, capable of producing polished, aesthetically consistent assets like those seen on brands such as Rest and Nectar Sleep. Scope of Work: 3D RENDERING Create a realistic exploded view of the comforter (showing inner layers and zipper functionality). Render hero images of the comforter placed in multiple bedroom environments with different interior aesthetics. Render the comforter in multiple color variations (e.g., white, lavender, etc.). Create visualizations that clearly demonstrate the zip-apart dual-weight functionality (light/summer mode vs. heavy/winter mode). PHOTO RETOUCHING & EDITING Edit existing lifestyle photos to: Clean up wrinkles, lighting, and shadows. Replace backgrounds with high-end, minimalist bedroom interiors. Change comforter color to match brand palette. Add product tags and branding elements (as needed). Generate alternate scenes from existing images (e.g., new room, angle, bedding arrangement). GENERAL EXPECTATIONS Deliver polished assets ready for Shopify, ads, and landing pages. Stay consistent with brand tone (minimal, soft, premium). Be comfortable iterating based on visual feedback and references we’ll provide.
