We are seeking an experienced freelance accountant to help us get our books and tax records in order ahead of a funding round closing in mid-April. This includes previous years tax filings of 0-revenue returns. We have setup a QBO subscription and already reconciled our bank accounts. About Us: Refacture, Inc. is an early-stage industrial technology company developing plasma systems to recover critical raw materials from industrial waste. We are a Delaware C-Corp incorporated on April 27, 2020, with no revenue to date but minimal expenses related to operations, administration, and consulting (all documented). Scope of Work: Organize and update financial records (minimal transactions) Prepare and file any outstanding Delaware state & federal tax returns (we have never filed due to no revenue) Generate clean financial statements to support our funding round Advise on any compliance or tax-related issues we should address before closing If possible, assist with future accounting needs Ideal Candidate: Experience with early-stage startups and Delaware C-Corps Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software Knowledge of U.S. tax filings for startups with no revenue Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly Available to start immediately and complete the project by mid-February Next Steps: If you are interested, please provide: 1.
