Job Title: Website Updates & Maintenance Specialist Location: Remote Job Type: Part-Time/Freelance Department: Marketing Reports to: Marketing Director Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Website Updates & Maintenance Specialist to manage and ensure the smooth functioning of our website(s). You will be responsible for regular updates, troubleshooting issues, monitoring performance, and implementing improvements to ensure a high-quality user experience and optimal site performance. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine updates to website content, images, and layout (e.g. blog posts, product pages, banners, etc.) Monitor website performance, uptime, and page speed regularly Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to functionality, layout, or responsiveness Maintain site security through regular software, CMS, and plugin updates Collaborate with content creators, designers, and developers to implement new features or content Maintain backups and implement disaster recovery protocols Review and analyze website analytics to inform site improvements Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility Requirements: Proven experience with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, etc.) Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript Familiarity with website hosting environments, domain management, and DNS settings Experience with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and performance testing tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Lighthouse) Basic knowledge of SEO best practices Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively Preferred Qualifications: Experience with eCommerce platforms and integrations Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) Graphic design or UX/UI knowledge is a plus Prior experience in a similar role within land development/real estate is a bonus Benefits: Flexible hours Remote work Hourly Wage
