Media Planner with Agency Experience


Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Media Planner to develop and execute multi-channel media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams. The Media Planner will be responsible for researching media channels, staying updated with industry trends, planning advertising campaigns, and identifying target audiences. Responsibilities: Identify and understand target audiences for media campaigns. Collaborate with clients, senior management, and team members to develop media goals, objectives, and strategies. Create and present media plans, including recommended media channels, investment levels, target audience insights, and campaign execution details. Draft comprehensive media strategy and planning documents, detailing platforms, channels, impressions, and other key metrics. Monitor media campaigns and make necessary adjustments for optimization. Research the current media landscape and keep up to date with the latest media trends. Build and maintain relationships with clients, advertising platforms, and media influencers. Ensure advertising messages align with client or company objectives. Negotiate with media sales companies to obtain the best rates and most appropriate media spaces in online, broadcast, and print advertising. Coordinate launch plans and media strategy with other members of the agency team. Report campaign performance to relevant stakeholders. Conduct competitive analysis to inform media strategies. Mentor junior staff and provide guidance on media planning processes. Ensure accurate budgeting and billing for media campaigns. Utilize media planning tools and software such as MediaOcean, Prisma, Comscore, eMarketer, and other relevant platforms.
