What You’ll Do: - Write original, high-quality blog posts that align with our brand voice and editorial standards - Break down complex financial topics in a clear, approachable way without oversimplification - Follow SEO best practices and optimize content for user intent, readability, and engagement - Conduct thorough research and link to credible internal and external sources - Create metadata (title tags and meta descriptions) that supports SEO goals - Adhere to our in-house style guide and compliance expectations - Accept and implement editorial feedback to continually improve your work Project Scope: We’re starting with one-off assignments to assess fit. If your work is strong, there's potential for ongoing freelance opportunities with consistent assignments. What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience writing long-form SEO content for the web - Excellent research and writing skills - Ability to write without heavy reliance on AI tools - Strong command of English and grammar - A portfolio of published work (or the ability to share strong writing samples) Nice to Have: - An associate or bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or similar field - Experience writing about financial services - Experience working in a highly regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, finance, legal)
