We need help building a dataset of clinical trial and FDA drug approval data. This data will ultimately be used to help philanthropists determine how to most effectively allocate their donations towards researching treatments for rare/underserved diseases in the global south known as “tropical diseases.” You will be provided a spreadsheet of late stage (Phase III) clinical trials. We want you to perform some research on each trial. What was the outcome of this trial – did the FDA approve the drug? Did the drug sponsor abandon development of the drug after this trial? Did the drug sponsor initiate additional Phase 3 trials after this one? Etc. If you are selected for this job, we will provide you the exact instructions for the work and have you complete research on a small sample of the clinical trials. If we’re satisfied with your work product, we will provide you with a larger set of clinical trials to research and will keep you on deck for potential future research tasks.
