Simon’s Heart is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac arrest and death in children, teens, and young adults. We are seeking a skilled email communications manager to create and send monthly newsletters and targeted campaign emails. The ideal candidate knows how to tell a story and keep supporters engaged throughout the year. The candidate will be intensely curious, super creative and very passionate for our lifesaving mission. The purpose of our emails will be to educate, inform, entertain, intrigue, inspire and raise money. • Plan, draft, design, and send email newsletters via Bloomerang. • Create targeted campaign emails as needed (event invitations, fundraising appeals, program updates). • Manage basic email list hygiene (segments, bounces, unsubscribes). • Analyze engagement metrics and suggest optimizations. Requirements: • 2+ years experience in email marketing for nonprofits or similar fields. • Strong copywriting and basic design/layout skills. • Attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency. • Strong desire for success and improvement.
