Responsibilities Strategic planning: Align business objectives with employees and management Policy creation: Develop employee handbooks, policies, and procedures Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR regulations Training and development: Coach managers on leadership practices and identify training needs Performance management: Facilitate performance management processes Employee relations: Manage employee relations and act as a point of contact for employees Organizational change: Support organizational change initiatives Talent management: Plan for the right size and type of workforce Other duties Benefit plan selection, enrollment, and administration Recruiting and onboarding Employee retention and turnover Workplace culture Skills and knowledge HRBPs need to have a strong understanding of the business, its strategy, and its customers. They also need to have a good understanding of the people challenges faced by the organization. Speaking Spanish or Portuguese will be a plus
