Job Summary As a Local SEO Specialist, you will develop and execute robust SEO strategies designed to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and maximize online visibility. You will collaborate closely with our content, marketing, and development teams to implement best practices and ensure our digital assets remain ahead of industry trends. Your expertise in Local SEO will be instrumental in reaching target audiences and supporting our business growth objectives. Key Responsibilities - Develop and execute tailored Local SEO strategies that align with client goals and target audiences. - Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GBP) for visibility, engagement, and local rankings. - Conduct local keyword research and competitor analysis to identify areas for growth. - Manage and maintain accurate local citations and directory listings. - Identify & resolve NAP (Name, Address, & Phone number) inconsistencies to support stronger local presence. - Monitor local listings for accuracy, performance, and optimization opportunities. - Track KPIs like local rankings, GBP engagement, Local SEO performance, and traffic metrics. - Implement and manage conversion tracking for Local SEO, GBP, and other local campaigns. - Set up and maintain analytics tools like GA4, Google - Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and Call Routing. - Create custom reports and dashboards with real-time insights for clients and internal teams. - Analyze local SEO and analytics performance, providing actionable insights. - Collaborate closely with content, design, and technical SEO teams to drive results. - Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitive analysis to identify new growth opportunities. - Geo-targeting for local service areas supporting SEO strategies. - Monitor / Report on Local SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush. - Stay current with evolving search engine algorithms and industry best practices. - Manage & optimize online, offline, & Local SEO, including UTMs, tags, and schema markup implementation. Required Qualifications - 5+ years of proven working experience as an Local SEO, with a track record of driving measurable results. - Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical Local SEO best practices. - Strong knowledge of Google Business Profile (GBP) management. - Experience with Google Business Profile (GBP) management, B2C SEO or Local SEO, particularly .geo-targeting for local service areas. - Ability to interpret analytics and turn data into strategy. - Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.). - Experienced with HTML/CSS, CMS platforms (WordPress & Go High Level) and basic web development principles. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Education & Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. - Proven experience with Local SEO, and landing page performance optimization, geo tracking, and geo targeting. - Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple campaigns, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. - Detail-oriented and organized—you catch small errors and make sure nothing slips. - Fluent in Speaking, Reading, Excellent written communication in English. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of PPC and content marketing strategies. - SEO expertise across Google, Bing, social media, and landing pages. - Basic understanding of JavaScript and advanced HTML for technical Local SEO tasks. - Understanding of PPC principles. - Experience in the HVAC Service Industry is a Plus.
