Metro Hort Group, Inc. is seeking proposals from experienced web design and development agencies to redesign our existing website. Our goal is to create a modern, responsive, user-friendly website that aligns with our brand and provides an enhanced user experience. Goals Over the past five years, MHG has strived to expand and grow its membership offering more digital content and resources while still maintaining well used program features. MHG is looking to modernize the website with a more accessible, and easy user interface that allows streamlined updates on the website backend by our board volunteers and contracted staff. MHG wishes to continue to offer the following features to website visitors who are nonmembers: Moderated job board, moderated volunteer board, industry directory, dedicated sponsor locations, social media links, news and blog posts, calendar & listing of MHG events, calendar of industry events, industry events, newsletter subscription, photo integrations that can be updated, donation page, and the ability to purchase tickets, memberships and apparel. MHG wishes to have the following features available through a member portal: The ability to have dedicated portals for different membership tiers, ability to add multiple logins to some membership tiers, ability to update a member directory, event and program ticketing, cloud space integration, video content, pdf content, membership subscription, private directory, submittable forms, dedicated member email integration, and dedicated member blogs/news updates. As MHG moves into its 40th year, we seek an updated and modern brand that aligns with our values as a metropolitan horticulture organization.
