We are looking for an independent contractor to join our team of Consultants. The ideal candidate will be available to provide up to 10 hours of work per week and can be client-facing when necessary. In this role, you will design, implement, and test demand-generation marketing programs, prospect/customer segmentation, and automated communications programs within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) platform. The ideal candidate for this position must have deep 'hands-on' experience with SFMC. Responsibilities may include: - Implement, configure, and manage the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including various Studio solutions and data source integrations. - Design workflows and processes across Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder & Email Studio to address various marketing use cases. - Build data extensions, write SQL queries, and utilize AMPScript to devise automated and personalized solutions across channels. - Design, maintain, and troubleshoot data models and feeds through various interface capabilities such as Marketing Cloud Connect, file drops, and APIs. - Configure and deploy triggered, automated, and recurring sends and dynamic content-driven campaigns and journeys. Prepare data models and appropriate automation rules. - Advise clients on marketing automation capabilities, processes, and maintenance industry best practices. - Proactively recommend to clients to enhance their use of marketing technology tools. - Analyze marketing journey/program performance and provide proactive recommendations to clients regarding reporting enhancements. - Ability to design, configure, test, debug and deploy quality, scalable, well-documented solutions on the SFMC platform. - Serve as lead consultant for multiple accounts and across multiple industries. - Train, mentor, and guide other consultants on the SFMC platform related to implementations, optimization, and management. - Lead discovery sessions and develop innovative solutions that meet client needs. Qualifications include: - 4+ years of experience working in Salesforce Marketing Cloud products, including Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Contact Builder. Experience with Advertising Studio, Audience Studio, Interaction Studio, and Datorama is a plus. - Ability to define and articulate business requirements and architect solutions leveraging a client’s SFMC platform, CRM platform(s), and potentially other marketing technologies. - Experience in creating programs, workflows, campaigns, automations, and assets within a client’s SFMC instance. Experience implementing a client’s new instance of SMFC. - Expertise leveraging AMPscript, JavaScript, and other SFMC scripting languages for email and web page personalization. SSJS is a plus. - Strong proficiency with marketing automation and marketing strategy best practices, lead management, lead nurturing, deliverability, and performance reporting. Strong analytic, collaborative, leadership, presentation, and problem-solving skills with a bent toward continual learning. - Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Admin Certification is requested. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant Certification is preferred.
