Cold Caller / Business Development for Private Equity


Description: We’re looking for a sharp, professional cold caller to join our business development team. Your role will be to make outbound calls to owners and executives of privately held companies on behalf of our clients—primarily private equity firms and strategic acquirers. The objective is to introduce potential acquisition opportunities, gauge interest, and schedule follow-up meetings with our team. This is not high-volume telemarketing or script reading. It's thoughtful, targeted outreach to senior decision-makers—so strong communication, confidence, and professionalism are key. Responsibilities: Make outbound calls to business owners and executives Introduce our clients' interest in acquiring or investing in their companies Qualify interest and gather basic company information Schedule follow-up calls for our deal team Log call outcomes and notes in CRM (we use HubSpot or similar tools) Collaborate with our team on messaging and targeting Key Skills & Qualifications: Prior experience in cold calling, sales development, or lead generation (especially B2B) Clear, confident, and professional phone presence Strong English communication skills (verbal + written) Ability to quickly grasp and communicate value propositions Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) a plus Bonus: Experience speaking with executives or business owners
