Hi there! I'm looking for a video editor who is plugged into pop culture — ideally someone familiar with games like Call of Duty, FPS titles, and general gaming trends. About Me: I create video essays on YouTube focused around gaming topics and commentary. My main YouTube channel has about 22K subscribers. I also have a TikTok account with 150K+ followers (although it’s been inactive for a while — so realistically, we're rebuilding momentum). The Job: You'll take long-form YouTube videos I've already created and carve out 1-3 short-form videos (maximum 90 seconds each) from each one. These shorts will be posted on TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels. I’ll provide the final edited YouTube video — and can also supply extra assets if needed (raw webcam footage, gameplay, full video without background music, etc.). You’ll have creative freedom to find the best moments for short content. (I won't be providing timestamps or specific clips in most cases.) Ideal Candidate: Familiar with memes, trends, and references (especially FPS games like Call of Duty). Strong sense of what makes content pop on TikTok and Shorts — quick pacing, meme edits, catchy hooks. Good instincts for trimming clips into fast, engaging stories without losing context. Bonus if you're a gamer yourself!
