We’re a fast-growing, family-owned junk removal company in Charlotte, NC looking for a skilled, proactive Virtual Assistant to help manage incoming leads, estimates, invoicing, and customer communication—especially through Thumbtack. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone who knows how to respond fast, think like an owner, and manage the day-to-day admin tasks that keep a service-based business running smoothly. Hours: 15–25 hours/week to start Pay: $18–$25/hour (based on experience, U.S.-based only) Type: Remote, part-time Schedule: Must be available during normal EST business hours (especially mornings) to respond to leads in real time What You’ll Do: Monitor and respond to Thumbtack leads quickly and professionally Send quote messages, follow-ups, and answer basic lead questions Use estimate templates to build accurate, detailed responses Send and track invoices (Housecall Pro, Square, or similar) Manage scheduling and help coordinate job appointments Answer calls/texts (via app or call-forwarding) Enter payroll hours weekly (Housecall Pro Payroll – simple) Track estimates that don’t close and organize leads Must-Haves: Direct experience managing Thumbtack or similar platforms Fast typing, clear grammar, and professional tone Highly organized and great at follow-up Tech-savvy and confident using tools like Housecall Pro, Google Sheets, Square, and Slack/text apps Reliable internet + quiet home workspace Nice to Have: Experience working with a junk removal, home services, or field-based company Social media skills for occasional Facebook posts Experience with payroll software
