AWE Ventures is seeking a detail-oriented and highly adaptable Administrative Assistant to provide cabinet-level support to our Executive Director. This independent contractor will help manage internal operations, coordinate with external partners, and assist with creative and planning efforts across the organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. While the schedule is flexible, the assistant will be expected to attend a weekly standing meeting on Mondays from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM CST. Additional hours will be tracked independently and must be approved in advance before exceeding the 10-hour weekly limit. Key Responsibilities Cabinet-Level Administrative Support Provide high-level administrative assistance to the Executive Director Maintain organized digital records, notes, and action items Help manage inboxes, calendars, follow-ups, and internal workflows Stakeholder Management & Light Sales Support Support outreach and coordination with key stakeholders, vendors, and partners Track communications and assist in follow-up processes Assist with light proposal development, lead tracking, and scheduling Creative & Brainstorming Support Participate in planning and brainstorming sessions as needed Contribute to creative ideation across program design, engagement strategy, and internal initiatives Provide light formatting, editing, or visual support when requested
