Freedom In Me Business Showers (FIMBS), a growing 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to supporting new businesses through resources and social capital, is seeking an experienced Grant Writer who can deliver quick results. This role requires a fast learner who can efficiently research, write, and apply for mini-grants as well as larger government grants to secure critical funding. The ideal candidate will have: Proven success in winning nonprofit grants, including government, corporate, and foundation funding. A strong track record of quick turnaround results in securing funding. Established, verifiable relationships with donors, funders, and decision-makers, which can be leveraged to increase funding opportunities. Ability to independently search for, write, and submit grant proposals with minimal oversight. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines. Responsibilities: Identify and apply for mini-grants and large-scale government grants. Develop compelling grant proposals, LOIs, and funding applications. Maintain and expand relationships with donors, funders, and grant decision-makers. Ensure grant compliance and reporting requirements are met. Work collaboratively with leadership to align funding opportunities with organizational goals. Qualifications: Minimum 2+ years of nonprofit grant writing experience. Demonstrated history of successfully securing grants. Experience with government grants (federal, state, or local) is a plus. Existing relationships with funders are strongly preferred. Strong research, writing, and communication skills. Strong sales and presentation skills. Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
