ProtekTop is a new, patent-pending consumer car cover designed for quick folding, compact storage, and enhanced user experience. The product includes a multi-panel construction with unique folding seams, integrated venting, and a built-in pouch. Visual branding (color, arrows, QR code) plays a major role in both user guidance and packaging appeal. We're seeking an experienced soft goods or apparel patternmaker / technical designer to: • Finalize existing Illustrator/PDF pattern files • Apply folding logic overlays and visual instruction placements • Prepare production-ready DXF/SVG/AI files • Create a complete tech pack (including BOM, fold sequence diagram, fabric suggestions) Project Scope: Files Provided: • 14 individual real-scale pattern pieces (in .pdf & .ai) • Product mockups, branding guide, and visual presentation • Provisional patent write-up with functional claims • BOM with suggested materials and colors • Adjusted dimensions of the car cover including mirror dart Deliverables Needed: 1. Clean, editable vector files of all pattern pieces (DXF/SVG + master Illustrator) 2. Logical piece arrangement map with seam/fold references 3. Overlays for folding arrows, instructional icons, QR location 4. Seam guide callouts for manufacturing clarity 5. Tech Pack (PDF): o Front + rear cover renderings (simple is fine) o BOM table and part usage map o Finished dimensions and scale reference o Notes on special features: mirror darts, vents, pouch location Ideal Experience: • Cut-and-sew product design (garments, tents, luggage, car covers, etc.) • Illustrator/AutoCAD/Gerber/Optitex/PatternMaker proficiency • Ability to interpret and clean real-scale designs for factory delivery • Familiarity with BOMs and visual instruction overlays Timeline & Budget: Start: TBD Initial Delivery: ~15 days for first draft Budget: Open to fixed or hourly bids depending on expertise level and turnaround Contact: P Andres Otero Attachments available upon agreement.
