We are seeking a skilled bookkeeper to help our growing accounting team. This job entails having the ability to work with autonomy and be a Team player. We need you to be a self-starter, trustworthy, organized, and an excellent communicator. Some of the tasks you will partake in are company cleanups, month-end close processes, managing accrual accounts and entries, processing and recording payroll, reviewing financial reports, and client-facing interactions. The ideal candidate goes above and beyond routine data entry, ensures monthly financials make sense, and isn't afraid to ask questions; they take an ownership mentality with clients. You will be responsible for preparing financial statements and providing insights to help clients make informed business decisions. Current client load includes property flippers/investors, property management, retail, and service businesses. If these are in your wheelhouse, big bonus! Additionally, looking for someone familiar with multi-state sales tax filings, including Colorado. Proficiency in accounting software, including QBO, QBD, AppFolio, Gusto, and ADP, as well as apps like QBox, Keeper, Expnesify, Slack, and Zoom, is preferred. If you are trustworthy, have great communication skills, and are a reliable professional who enjoys working with clients and bookkeeping, we would love to hear from you!
